If they beat State, Auburn game will be packed. If we go on a real run, people will forget about the vaccine and the woke stuff real quick..

No, they won’t. People aren’t getting a vaccine to attend a game or even attend a tailgate that they make it a bigger pain in the arse to participate in every year. It’s still entertainment. This vaccine shite has been made to be a line in the sand many people are simply not willing to cave to, and the tactics are seen as completely Un-American in every sense of the word. There are still a lot of people who just aren’t willing to put up with that.

That’s offensive as hell, and yet more division and us versus them, considering the fact that people with the vaccine can spread it just as easily as people without the vaccine can, so what’s the point of a damn piece of cloth over your face doing, but putting a psychological muzzle on people who won’t comply. It gets the vaccine or it wears the mask again.

THIS. But the leaders won't budge until it either really squeezes them financially, or they get embarrassed for a big game opponent with a national audiences. Otherwise, they will rationalize other factors as the reasons, and minimize that the restrictions are the absolute main reason.

I think the attendance has more to do with the perceived state of the program and the Ida aftermath.
Think about the number of people who usually come from the River Parishes that aren’t right now because they have bigger things on their plate. I’m just one guy and I alone know several.

People on here saying the Covid restrictions and woke LSU are NOT the reason for low attendance at the same time lsu fans are on here telling you they are not going and even losing money to give up season tickets for that exact reason!
LSU fans usually showed up for non conference games but just left at halftime. What we saw last night was not normal but you keep telling yourselves that if you want.

Not only will I not go, I have not and will not even watch the LSU game on TV while they do this nonsense. And I’m vaccinated. I did watch some other games with full stadiums on TV and enjoyed it.

It has been that way for years. Why these season ticket holders do not show up is ridiculous. Give up those tickets if you are not going to show up for games.

The ida aftermath isn’t a factor. In 05 we had Katrina and Rita and the stadium was packed full.
It’s the team lost game, the shite teams we play, the nazi Covid stuff (even if they aren’t really checking hard).

Hurricane Ida.
Hurricane Laura. Yes, still.
Team looked like hot garbage for 2 weeks.
Woke administration and governor and BOS has turned off a lot of people. Them hiring Tate was slap in face.
Stadium entry policy passed many people off. They're just tired of the Covid BS.
People have changed. Students are different. Social media. Politics, etc.
Normal weak attendance for early season non conference games.
LSU and many others were trending in that direction with the exception of huge games. Pmany people just rather watch, cook, drink and hang out at home or a house party for convenience.

So many full stadiums across the country. LSU football has a serious problem with attendance.
