Other than being woke, what is LSU's rationale for having restrictions that other schools don't? For the past 2 weeks, hundreds of stadiums all over the country have been packed with no restrictions. I guess it's because nobody above Woodward gives a shite about LSU football and they'd rather double down on stupid than admit they're wrong.

I know quite a few people who are of the exact same mindset. They haven’t gotten the vaccine, and so they are just not going. Now, if LSU was tearing it up this year, that number might be less, but it’s a perfect storm, a perceived down year for LSU and Nazi Checkpoints to get in the stadium. It’s not a draw, and for some, it’s seen as completely unacceptable and they absolutely will not comply.
It’s not just LSU or this state though. When you have a president threatening Americans, pitting unvaccinated against vaccinated Americans, and trying to force some 80 million Americans with losing their jobs if they don’t get vaccinated, it’s being seen as a line in the sand most are not willing to cave on. It’s now a hill to die on if anything.
In large part, you can also blame the social distancing stuff and people staying home over the past year or so with creating this as well
I’m proud of them. Some things are bigger than football, and LSU. Age, wisdom, and a value system gives perspective. For some it never does, but for others it does.
