This Scott Grandma is really starting to look like a real POS. Not taking away from what Guice allegedly did, but this new information is starting to bring some facts to life.

The lady is claiming it happened. With, to my knowledge, only her self-serving testimony as proof. Only to then have this bozo call LSU saying that the story never gets publicized if LSU is willing to "pay whatever they think Guice's value of playing in the Cap One Bowl is"...using Fournette as a "comp" for Guice's alleged monetary value to LSU.
It may very well have happened. The lady may truly be distraught. But when you have attempted ghetto lawyering taking place within the event it starts to raise some credibility concerns about the entire story

For those who didn’t listen to scona this afternoon, he played a clip from the phone call between the AAU coach and Segar and Verge, as well as a voicemail from Scott where she states her name multiple times and says that the only people allowed to handle her business are the AAU coach and her grandson (states both of their names).
They caught this scheme red-handed and thankfully kept the evidence. The media pundits are on Twitter still defending Scott, because “believe all victims”

If you think verge is dumb enough to believe some bullshite like this and even remotely try to hook some fool up with money ,all you frickers are morons. If you listen to the full recording it becomes very clear why that specific demand was made. In response to Segar's question to the AAU coach as to the amount Scott is seeking he says "whatever is the value to LSU of Guice playing in the Cap. One Bowl" That was the ransom: "Pay us what you think it is worth to you to have Guice play, or else we are going to make these allegations public in an effort to prevent Guice from playing." LSU emphatically said they weren't paying any type of ransom.
It very well could be that this lady is truthful and distraught or the alleged incident (assuming it happened exactly as she stated). But her credibility is very much in question now.
I know this matter isn't in a court of law (and there is probably a good reason for that) but it also goes to show you that "believe all women is a terrible and dangerous standard." One that is the antithesis of our criminal justice system. The standard should to investigate all allegations seriously, but certainly not a de facto presumption of truth without anything more

I dont hate Verge. I feel sorry for him because he(among others) has to go to sleep at night knowing a handful of women were sexually assaulted, and continued to be, because of his inaction.
