Your take is ridiculous. You are just trying to find something to bitch about.

Did you watch? It was clearly deliberate. Night and day difference. We won but there’s nothing ridiculous about pointing out the obvious attempt to obstruct Cades view of the goal posts.

It is smart, just like I forgot which game had what looked like yellow goal posts everywhere on video monitor behind posts, but why not do it if it is legal? And truthfully as long as York could see the field goal posts before initial kick, he good to go. Who cares about the flight of the ball into some bright lights, it is already kicked so nothing can be changed.

they deliberately built the jumbotron in the endzone to use it like that in this game?

wow. that’s some foresight on the planning committee

I guess seeing the goalposts is not a big deal when kicking a field goal.

It is not actually ridiculous.

Yes it is ridiculous. They did nothing with the lights. It’s just camera angle and refraction.

Thanks for posting that Shifty, to those that say that the lighting was the same.

Better get an appointment with your eye doctor

They have different configurations in each end zone. What I’m saying is that they did nothing special. And a camera can make lights look that way, but your eyes don’t. Lastly, as someone pointed out, a kicker doesn’t even look at that. He’s looking at the ground.

No kicker has ever seen goal posts while kicking a field goal, so no, seeing goal posts is not important.

This is from an Alabama fan on the rant. But nothing to see here.

That was mentioned during the game chat. They kept the banner lights flashing in LSUs face and seemed to have them steady for UF. It wS distracting as frick with the distortion from the fog

the lights behind the goalposts actually put them in stronger silhouette through the fog.

This is not true. Higher light levels in fog results in far more reflected light from all angles greatly reducing the ability to see white goal posts.
This is why low beams on auto lights are advised when driving in fog.

True. And I guess different technologies...one a steady blue light stream and the other zooming whites.

OK St put yellow lines on its video board for the UT game this year.

Not a huge deal. But others noticed it too...not just LSU fans. I don't think it's a huge deal, but a part of home field advantage. What Okie State did was bush league.

I honestly didn’t realize that while watching the game. I couldn’t see shite on the LSU kick.

I didn't see the last kick. I was on the ground with an epileptic seizure due to the bright flashing lights on the screen. There was no warning, think I can call Gordon?

Fair points but I wasn’t just referring to the Jumbotron. The thinner lights below them were on full blast compared to what the Florida kicker faced. The fog compounded things.

It's already been mentioned in another thread, but each time I watch it, I am shocked to see Deculus down there near the goal line on the kick.
