Our coaches said similar shite about college scouts when going up against Warrick Dunn(CHS) and Alan Stansberry(Broadmoor) in high school football games.
It does motivate you.

I say it all the time, there's A TON to be dissatisfied with when it comes to Mainieri, but some of you try to jump on the man so often for no reason that you come across as morons.
I love this tactic by Mainieri. "Those scouts are coming see Rocker and Leiter, make them leave thinking about you." That's excellent. Same thing happened with Taysom Hill with the Saints, Sean Payton goes to watch a WR work out, and leaves enamored with Hill.
