i live in Austin and no tickets no emails nothing. The ticket office just keeps saying it will be today or tomorrow and those days come and geaux and nothing is delivered. They are completely clueless. They have 3 months to get this together and instead treat it like a SECCG where they have 8 days. PLEASE go back to UPS

Glad to hear this as well. Our tickets are in my mother in law's name (we pay for what we use) and she keeps saying they have not come. I was starting to think she either gave them up and didn't tell anyone or was lying. Both entirely realistic.

ome of you bitch way too much without knowing the facts.

Is it bitching when someone is concerned at the way they deliver? I warned ticketholders to stay home and wait for the tickets because they may not be at their doorstep when they get home. Friends I know found their tickets at the bottom of their door after work. They are lucky the wind or rain didn't ruin them. So knowing about the poor printing Co. and their awful position the fans put them in isn't good enough to many of us.

But we all have to give it to you for being knowledgeable and mature for letting us know.

Unless there is a whole in the bag, the rain wont ruin them. It is in a sealed Fedex bag

Oh, I got mine last Friday

In my opinion, to wait a week before the season starts to deliver tickets is a black eye on the athletic department. They need to do a better job in either planning or getting another vendor (depending where fault falls). If you're on vacation, out of town for buisness or the tickets get lost you have a very small window. My tickets still haven't arrived. I'm not going to be able to make the first game and promised to give my tickets to a friend. I'm leaving town today...

Spoke to ticket office over the weekend and they said they were holding them until after Issac. Said no reason to have people lose them in the storm if the first game wasn't until Sept 22. Good move IMHO.

Does it bother anyone that the tickets are printed in Arkansas? Does Louisiana really not have a printing company to do this? JustCurious???

I do not know of which company it is, so this may not be true in this case..
But I have encountered this when bidding for TX jobs, there is an Ark company that "guides" in the bidding process and "include hidden requirements" that ONLY their equipment can do.

A lot of time the buyers do not know enough to question the "requirements/needs", so they overpay due to the monopoly created.

As a procurement consultant, that's non ethical behavior if it's with a state entity. I'd have advised my client to file a protest. We'd then fight it.
