So it looks like Simmons is a no energy lazy player and does not care.

"I just received a text from somebody very, very close to the situation in Philadelphia about Ben Simmons. ... ‘He doesn’t work, he doesn’t listen, and everyone around him is family, and he’s constantly babied.’"

Everyone has been shitting on Ben. A lot of it deservedly so. But the reality is if he even had a normal NBA shooting ability and free throw percentage the guy would be top 10 in the NBA easily maybe top 5. If you take that up to above average then he would be an mvp candidate every year. Seems like a waste because everyone feels like it is something he should be able to do, but that has to come from him. He needs to grow up and take responsibility.

he recently signed a $177 million contract, fully guaranteed. Absolutely moronic for Philly to give that kind of money to their primary ball handler who can't shoot.

With that fully guaranteed money, there's little incentive for him to work hard to improve. Sure, there's always the next contract to work towards, but now that he has $177m guaranteed, he could easily phone it in.

Ben Simmons has gotten his payday without having an internal drive to be the best and improve his game. He sure isn't going to bust his arse now.

Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf is his name, not Chris Jackson. Geeze, some people let the dumbest things bother them... MAR was about the best shooter I have ever seen in my life, Simmons could do much worse.

You have to want help before getting help but I think that Ben will bounce back after hitting rock bottom on his career. He will never forget these playoffs and it will say a lot about him if he bounces back and learns how to shoot with confidence and puts the time in the gym to get better at what he does.

Hmmmm...I didn't hear CHRIS JACKSON

Cmon my dude. Guy doesn't want to go by that name anymore. This isn't like trannys being born one sex and trying to make the rest of us pretend they're another and engage in their fantasies and denial of reality. It's just a name and it's his to choose.

Also, by all accounts he's an outstanding person. Says all the right things. Have you ever watched any of his interviews?

Simmons should get Kobe Bryant to lend a hand. Or help him get a leg up on the competition.

MAR will offer Simmons a lot more than just help with his on-court shooting. This guy has the wisdom, maturity, and experience Simmons needs to grow up.

The same can be said for Magic…. He wasn’t much of a shooter coming out of college but he was good at everything else… once he started hitting that outside shot teams had to change their defense even more to defend him….

He would be stupid to even try with Simmons… he has zero work ethic….. zero passion to become the best he can be…. Bottom line is that he got paid……
