Its about making Bama settle for field goals.

Their stupid Gump kicker hasn't missed since Tennessee last year. He's on a 27-27 stretch. Its about time for Gumperella to shank a few.

Improvement from the defense this week with all the new guys is almost as much of an indictment on the coaching staff as deserving of accolades.

After what they’ve already done to Perkins, it seems they are conditioning us to accept mediocrity and failure.

Simply put, they're going to have to do things they havent been able to do with players who havent done it bacause the coaching staff didnt think they were better than the guys who havent been able to get it done so far.

This.

I’m hoping for a shoot out, but it could also be a long day in Tuscaloosa. Let’s hope for some lucky bounces and unsung heroes.

Yep. Milroe is the most pivotal player in the game for either side.

The floor for LSU’s offense is pretty high. They will get their 30+. They played bad against FSU. Worst performance of the year for JD, the WRs and the OL. Plus we didn’t have Diggs.

We can’t stop Bama’s offense without some help. We need Milroe to provide that help.

I like the 5 punts.
I would offer 5 stops - punts, turnovers, failed 4th down attempts and end of half/game.
Get 5 of those and we will be in position to win.

If we can get a 17-6 point difference across 3 possessions at any point in the first half I think we win. That's 2tds and a FG in three drives for us and 2 fgs in 3 drives for them. In reality that's only one stop but it gets you a double digit lead and with our offense I think they can hold that cushion. I don't see their defense being able to hold us to one FG in 3 possessions at any point.

Based on other games we have won, limit second-half points (non OT) to less than 21, and we win. More than 21, we lose. 21 is probably a toss up.

2nd Half Scoring

FSU 31

Grambling 0

Miss State 7

Ark 18

Ole Miss 24

Mizzou 14

Auburn 11

Army 0

A FG should be considered a stop w/ this LSU offense. If they beat LSU kicking FG's then tip the cap to their insane defense.

I believe part of Saban's game plan will include going for it on 4th down, not kicking.
Hoping for a certain young defensive player to score his 1st TD this Saturday.

Like others have stated if the D gets five stops or makes Bama kick a couple extra field goals instead of getting TD’s then LSU wins. I don’t think Bama can keep LSU’s O under 30 points

They need to stop Bama's second half dominance.

That's astounding! You would think their would be holding and a shanked kick here or there at least!

7X4 TDs = 28 + 3X4 FGs= 12 for a total of 40 points.

If the offense can play like we know they can, then we score 40+.

That's a lot of points.
