I wish nothing but success for Joe Brady. Would be awesome to see him break the Bills curse.

Since you are talking about Assistant coaches I'll say Steve Ensminger was the best we've had

Esminger was never a decent coach at any stop. I know they all wanted to play that game, but everyone knew who changed the offense and called plays. It is the reason Ensminger didn't get the award for best assistant, but Brady did. Also, colleges and pro teams were begging Brady, not so much Ensminger. No one that was actually involved believed Ensminger had much to do with that offense.

The Joe Brady lore will be written about one day. He might be on the highest pedestal of any Coach at LSU that was never a HC here.

I love Ensminger and he was 100% Tiger. But Brady is the one that turned the offense around. The offense was stale and stagnant, Burrow was just OK in his 1st season and the WR's dropped passes like crazy.
That all changed the summer of 2019. Ensminger called the plays that year but that offense was different because of Brady. The plays changed, the WR's caught everything in their radius, and Burrow was a different player and was super accurate and knew his reads and where he needed to go pre-snap.

Even Ed Orgeron came out and said multiple times that it was Joe Brady's offense. Why is this so hard for folks on Tigerdroppings to accept? When TV would show JB & SE in the booth why was Joe Brady always the one talking while Slinger was to the side spitting in his spit cup?

I believe I saw an interview with Ensminger where he said that he called 1st and 2nd downs while Brady called 3rd downs and red zone plays.
