Your Tigers in this weekend's action scored 44 runs and gave up 4. LSU had 35 hits and gave up 5. LSU committed 1 error and the other teams had 8 errors.

Some of the accomplishments that occurred this weekend:

LSU had a different winning pitcher for each of the four games. This included a no-hitter by Shelbi Wickersham and a PERFECT GAME by Maribeth Gorsuch!!!!

What’s more fitting than a no-hitter for Beth Torina’s 500th victory!
Last night's final pitch from the second career no-no by Shelby Wickersham!
Video of last strike of the game that LSU won 12-0

Against Sam Houston State...
The Tigers walked 14 times which is the most in program history.
Pleasants had five of those, which is the most an individual has walked in a game for the Tigers.

I actually like your posts in general, but stop the #2 program stuff. Your posts are meant to be positive and supporting. Don’t disrespect all the other sports. Just post the info.

But then he wouldn't get the attention he is craving.

Exactly. Every sport represents LSU, it's not some contest between the programs. I'm all for supporting softball, but Ree, it would be more effective without the #2 program tacked on.

Not disrespecting anyone.

Simply stating fact.

BUT, if the other programs are like you and get their little feelings hurt and can't handle the truth, they need to step up their game or get left further behind in the SOFTBALL team's dust. The poor babies!!!

It's a fact that softball is LSU's #2 program? Even you are not stupid enough to not understand that this is clearly not a fact, and simply your opinion.

Haven't been able to watch a game yet. Seems like they are off to another really good start.

Is that clown with the belt and gloves still at the games? If not, I may tune in this week.

Damn! Wish you hadn't mentioned him.

But NO, thankfully the only time I have even heard of him this year was from another poster on this board, B&G guy was at a softball tournament in Georgia and apparently was front row and on TV.

I'm pretty sure someone somewhere in this big ole world gives a shite. I know it is not me but surely someone cares what you love and hate.

Thanks for sharing your feelings. You are like the other butthurt wimp in this thread crying because they think I am disrespecting some big ole mean MEN's team.

I’ve often thought you get somewhat of a bad rap on this board but then the seasons change and you become an insufferable little bitch with regard to the non-football sports.

They are LSUs 2nd best program behind football though right? Maybe gymnastics is consistently more successful ?

After football though, softball is the sport I enjoy most probably. It’s a fun watch and the team has been great the past 5 or so years

Love Tigers softball, but I’m interested to see what happens when we hit conference play. Our pitchers seem stronger this year, but we still struggle at the plate against decent/good pitching.

The hitting looks like it is coming around big time. But this wasn't the toughest competition in the world this weekend.

The team should have a lot of confidence heading to Cali if nothing else.

This coming weekend will give everyone a pretty good idea of how good the team really is and will be going forward.

I just hope the other LSU athletics aren't as big of bitches as the fans are.

If they are upset and crying like you then they need to do something about it and strive to catch up with the softball program.
