I understand the tie ins. Just usually you get a better opponent when you’re Top 15. Unfortunately, Ole Miss and Missouri took our spot this year in those games.

Just because a bowl game is still played on January 1 doesn’t mean it’s still a top tier bowl. The Alamo Bowl is on December 28. OU #12 vs. Arizona #14 is a better bowl and matchup.
