You do know that players are allowed to improve and get in better shape as their career goes by, right?

You know who else sucked on defense their first year? Seimone Augustus. And she has a statue outside the PMAC.

You think she’ll get better after her true freshman season?

M. Williams is a great player. I expect she will continue to develop in her sophomore and junior years.

I expect KM will have us contending most years. By contending I mean top 3 in SEC and top 10 in the country.

They return almost everyone and have one of the top recruiting classes . So yeah.

So you make a broad statement like that and can’t back it up with teams with championship caliber rosters other than the team that’s built a dynasty and just won its 2nd title in 3 years

Need a PG and some depth, but I think they’ll be a great team that might actually be better with Reece/HVL gone by tournament time next year.

LSU right now is in talks with two highly touted transfer guards right now who will be visiting lsu very soon. If they land both it’s big for next years team. Beyond that they would only need to add one more post with experience given the loss of Reese

LSU actually talent wise go into the portal season in good shape, they just need to add a few players in positions of need and develop our bench.

Or to not have a brain fart in the final seconds like Tennessee.

Yikes. She was the conference freshman of the year, started essentially the entire year. Defense comes along slower than offense. She will adjust and get only better from here.

Can't afford to keep getting beat out on top recruits to UConn and USCe.
i know UCONN is a huge name and will carry on but how much longer can Geno carry on. He is in his 70s now.

Well, that would have knocked SC out of the SECT, but they are still the overall number one seed and still steamroll through March Madness.

Only difference is they wind up 36-1 instead of 38-0.

Can anyone knock off South Carolina though ?

Gonna be hard with Nick Saban over there at SC. Going 0 for 4 this recruiting cycle is not a good start

I completely agree! Although, many here thought Williams was better than Augustus as a freshman and I don't agree with that. However, she certainly has the potential to be as good during her time here.

Morrow, Williams, flaujae and Smith is def a final 4 top 4.

Losing S. Smith this year really hurt. Reese played Center instaed of PF all season. Getting her back could be huge. She will be a Jr, along with FJJ. I'm lust guessing they have Del set for some strength and footwork training. Del and MKW will be SO. Poa and Morrow should both be back, Kent will only be SO. Add a couple of recruits and a little transfer portal...

Two incoming freshmen PGs along with a possible stud PG in the portal will key. Improving bench depth and outside shooting is how you challenge SC.

A smaller lineup of whoever at PG, Williams, Johnson, Morrow and Smith will be very scary.

And that was based off the hype of her 40 point game. Like I said, completely irrelevant after that. I really hope she improves, but as of now she is not very good. I don't give a shite about some award.

Surely you can’t be this out of touch or this delusional?

And no she had many very good games besides the 40 point game you mentioned. I’d love to hear your take on flaujaes freshmen year, she struggled just as much if not more…

Mikaylah has to get in shape, we established that but to insinuate the only thing she did this year was score 40 points is incredibly stupid. A little fun fact, she wasn’t even the PG and she still led the entire team in assists in conference play.

A 40 point game by a true freshman is absurd. She played FAR better than 99% of true freshmen ever do.

To say that she is not very good tells me you don't know jack about sports, jack.

Next year the ladies will be more balanced. Kim has thrived with teams like this.
