Hard to judge this team right now without everyone, but that was a very unimpressive half of basketball against a team projected to finish 13th in the Big 12. I don’t understand how this is fun. Hopefully in a few weeks it will be.

I should have caveated my statement. They are generally more sound fundamentally but much less physical in Europe. Ruzic's passes have been very good, in general, but he'll need to acclimatize to the physical aspect of the US game. I believe he will get there.

To be clear, I'm not posting about who plays because I think they should play more guys. I'm just making sure everyone understands that we're playing very short handed, regardless of who's playing and isn't. Both McNeese and UCF are playing with full depth and using it...as they should.

That’s what I just saw. Same ole shite. Lackadaisical defensively, careless with the ball, turnovers. Again, I’m taking this with a grain of salt, but we better get all of these guys eligible or it’s going to be a long year.

These 5 will play a lot of the minutes this season. Really, Niang, Dessert, and Clark are the only contributors who aren't eligible to play tonight. I think the rotation tonight is a pretty big clue that we won't see many minutes from guys outside that Top 8.

Just because you brought up last year’s team for some stupid reason, we averaged around 11 per game last year. Most definitely not an improvement.
So far I’ve seen two asinine takes:
“Hey, we’re losing, but God it feels good”
“7 Turnovers a game is bad, but not as bad as last year”
