Years ago at the Old Box, bama had a clone of Jethro & he was the bullpen catcher. Every time he got up, the left field crowd broke into the sound track of The Beverly Hillbillies; loud & long. It was brutal & he was finally pulled back into the dugout. The rest of the series he was serenaded every time he popped out of the dugout. The good old days at The Box.

Man I really need a sweep after football. God that was embarrassing

I just read a tweet from one of the Prospects Live guys @JoeDoyleMILB comparing Brody Brecht’s breaking ball to everyone else on college baseball. It’s the hardest breaking ball in college baseball.

Second hardest breaking ball in college is Lebarron Johnson.

We will face really good pitchers in the SEC, but those two have special pitches.

I'll say something nice about A&M, I really like their "Ball 5" chant. With our pitching staff, we shouldn't have to hear it.

For today there is going to be a strong 10-15 mph wind blowing straight in. Texas A&M has struggled at the plate thus far, but have done everything else really well, fielding, pitching, defense....Meanwhile LSU has done EVERYTHING well, but their offense as of late has been one moon shot after another. I think this game will be closer because of that wind and a few balls getting hung up in it, but I don't see the Aggies being able to do anything against Skenes. Tigers in a close Friday night low scoring SEC game.

Skenes may go complete game shutout. The Aggies just recently couldn't muster but 5 runs against Houston on a Tuesday night

My son and I will be there Saturday.

Looks like there is no threat of rain so that’s good.

Thanks for the insight on Brecht and Johnson. I was watching Chrysler’s curve and it looked like it had a nasty bite all night.

This kind of attitude (shared by many, myself included) is why we have to play them every year. We can try to act like we don't care about A&M but the animosity between programs exists.

Animosity=eyes on the game.

I just read your hate for Aggie. It flowed right through my veins and uplifted my soul. I'm ready for many a beverage to go with some Tiger baseball now. Thanks P!
