Was my first year in TigerBand. First bowl game. Everything happened right in front of me and I'll never forget it.

Jamarcus slung the shite out of the ball with two TDs in the 4th to take the lead.

QB play in 2004 was so weird. Jamarcus bailed Randall out against Oregon State. Randall bailed Jamarcus out against Florida. But no one could string games together after the performance off the bench.

Even so LSU went 9-2 and was some extra point frickery away from winning the West.

I was in the stands in the end zone when the safety let the WR run right past him...saw it before the ball even left QBs hand.

Saban called a fricking fake blitz on a Hail Mary situation. His head was clearly already in Miami. I was livid. Dumbest coaching move he ever made IMO. frick him for going out that way.

I was at that game. Honestly, not many in my section watched much of the game because there were so many rumors about Saban’s replacement at the game. The most outlandish of which was that Spurrier was sitting in LSU’s box waiting to be announced later that night……..

A few weeks ago there was a thread about one loss that still pisses you off. This game was my answer. 17 years later I’m still pissed.

Was there in the stands and to this day, frick Iowa fans. Thought they were assholes. I still remember finding out in the airport waiting for the flight back to Houston that Les was hired. I told another LSU fan waiting on the flight and he thought I was telling him that we had less miles for the flight.

I remember being so confused when Saban randomly put in Flynn before Jamarcus because Flynn had a few good bowl practices or something.

Flynn looked like shite and Jamarcus balled out. Wish he would have gotten the comeback win
