This is a good thing. Basically gives the team an extra day before Florida.

I dont go to many games anymore, but I hate the honey do's and doing housework, which is why the night games are perfect

Greg Sankey-

Raekwon Davis goes ground and pound on a player last year. All captured on video.
quote:

“I visited with Commissioner [Greg] Sankey about Raekwon’s actions,” Saban told reporters in his weekly press conference. “We will handle that internally. We will have him do some things.

Sankey said....sounds good to me

Now....Saban- Greg, these 11 am games are getting old. LSU never plays at 11. I know LSU says its tradition to play at night but we've had our tradition of playing Tennessee every year at the same time disrupted.

Greg- But you still play...

Saban - Just make LSU play at 11

Greg- sounds good to me

Saban? You really think Saban is concerned about when LSU plays fricking Utah State? Saban isn’t even thinking of LSU yet and won’t until game week despite some of yalls fantasy of Saban being obsessed with LSU. LSU has been one of his easier victories lately unfortunately.

Two weeks ago Bama is bitching and moaning about having to play games at 11am...

And lo and behold...

And so out of all of the games that could be put at 11 am, it's Bama's fault that LSU is the game that got picked for it? You're paranoid.

we could switch back to white

Not for this game. Utah State is wearing white. I would love to see LSU wear that retro all-gold uni from the late '50s. Now that could be doable if they still have gold jerseys in their arsenal.

SEC network is not a part of my Uverse package in the west coast (the have big 10, Pac 12, and Long Horn Net instead), therefore, I can not even watch the replay on ESPN. Is the an online site that shows the replay? Thanks

Dammit man, I cant tell you how much I hate that. I wanted to take the kids to this game...but they have games and stuff in Alex that morning.

Now I dont get to take them and I dont watch it live as I will be at the kids stuff.

Why in the world would Bama give a flying frick what time we play a rent a win?

2 weeks ago after Bama's game against Southern Miss got picked up for 11 am, Bama's AD put out a statement whining about an inequitable schedule that had Bama playing a disproportionate amount of 11 am games while "certain" teams never play 11 am home games.

Then by sheer coincidence, our next home game is picked up for the 11 am slot, making it the first non conference day game in 11 years. It's clear the SEC is placating Bama's whining.

Honestly, having a team from Utah have to travel 1,000 miles and play a day game in early October in Baton Rouge might be an advantage for us.

I generally think Tiger fans are being crazy, but I think this is actually what happened.

10/5 - TBD (3) Georgia Tennessee
10/5 - TBD Utah State (4) LSU
10/5 - TBD (7) Auburn (9) Florida
10/5 - TBD Vanderbilt Ole Miss
10/5 - TBD Troy Missouri

Looking at the schedule, there are only 2 games which seem destined to be considered for what amounts to the Jefferson Pilot slot. Us v Utah St and Mizzou v Troy. Given our desire to play at night, and the fact that we just played at 11 AM on the road, it seems odd that we'd get the 11AM slot at home with Mizzou available.

I'm generally not an Alabama conspiracy theorist, but its absolutely no coincidence that we have our first 11:00 game against an OOC team in over a decade a week after Bama complains about having to play too many 11:00 games.

and Utah State is losing an hour coming over, it will be like 10 for them...they may need breakfast on the sideline.
