Miami
Well, this just seems a bit shortsighted.

The game will not be played in Gainsville. They are looking for a neutral site now, possibly Superdome. Florida does not want to play in Tiger Stadium since they have a chance at winning the east.
Got it from the horse's mouth earlier today.
But But...it already came from the 6th floor

no, that guy was saying the game was being moved to BR, not the Dome

Hearing Gators doing everything they can to move game to Saturday night...have to convince SEC officials.
They can compensate for the lack of crowd noise from no fans attending with the sound of hundreds of generators powering the stadium.

You're one aggravating little shite. Shouldn't you be in class or something?

Honestly, I don't think FL has been holding out on this decision. I think it was made earlier and both sides are working out logistics and possibly TV. Gator fans may be holding out, which would be downright silly, but I doubt seriously that the administration has. There are a lot of details to be worked out and confirmed.

not sure what kind of private function would take up the whole superdome for the entire day, but Im sure they can move it somewhere else for a football game

Larry Leo, investigative reporter for TD News, should call Dome officials for confirmation.

Florida trying to move it back to 7pm

If they move it to Saturday night, this allows LSU to fly in on Saturday morning, then fly home after the game. No hotel rooms needed.
The issue becomes, what's plan B if the stadium is not usable (no electricity, or damaged), or if no airport is open for LSU to fly into?
How about put the team on a cruise ship and stage it out of the path of the storm? Then they can dock and take a bus to the stadium.
