Dude. You literally don’t get it at all. This is a smoke and mirror, misdirection of collosal proportions. He was never suspended. Never ineligible. Never not cleared to play. They held him out because the admin was running scared and didn’t know what to do with the Yahoo report. They interviewed the family in the process and were told there were no improper benefits. There is no NCAA investigation. There is no ineligible player to suddenly be declared eligible. You simply let the young man play. All the rest is a keystone cop performance by our university leadership. Making noise. Running in circles. Appearing to be working furiously. Doing nothing.
You simply let Smart play basketball. It really is that easy. But our university is a master at making simple things seem so very very complicated.

That article doesn't definitively state the person they were talking about is Smart....and Ive not seen proof of that and the NCAA told LSU Smart was not ineligible so if he wasn't ineligible then what makes you think he will become ineligible (baring new info)

You are either eligible or ineligible. There’s no gray area. Smart has ALWAYS been eligible.

Wade could be cleared, but it involves meeting with the NCAA. You can either wait for the NCAA investigation and risk lack of institutional control, or attack it. LSU chose to attack it. Wade could end this but won’t submit to the NCAA like Smart has.

extensions are about recruiting, any Malzahn reference was length on contract term.
