Heaven forbid they started last Saturday or Sunday. The suspension is suspect to begin with.
Typical. Waiting until the 13th hour. Wouldn’t surprise me if they came up with some bogus excuse that keeps him out.
The whole bungling of this operation reminds me of why I will never move back to Lousiana.

What the frick is going on??? LSU said the NCAA cleared him, he wasn't suspended, he was held out for an abundance of caution. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!

The illogical part of this thought process is that if the kid did something wrong then every game he played in until this date has been forfeit it. You lose nothing by playing him from this point forward. Everything in your possession indicates that he has done nothing wrong. There is no institutional control issue because the coach has been suspended. Reinstate the kid, continue with the investigation and if something turns up Pulliam. Otherwise you are good.

They said the NCAA said Smart was cleared to play but they were benching him “out of an abundance of caution.” Face it man, this administration is full of incompetent mouth breathers regardless of what Wade or Smart did.
