They’re trying to get Wade cleared too, but Wade’s hiding. Smart is submitting to NCAA investigators, Wade isn’t.

“To clear Smart”
To clear someone means that their status was in jeopardy, which is not the case with Smart. He was always cleared. Never suspended. Our administration decided to withhold him.
