Will he play basketball as well?

He quit basketball 1 game into Oklahomas season. He was on the team long enough to not have to do fall baseball and to absorb a roster spot that could have gone to someone actually interested in playing.

Well considering that apparently almost every major SEC and ACC school was after Blair according to Blake Ruffino I’d say this would be quite the pickup for Jay and the fact you are a dumbass. You don’t pass on guys like that. Thank God you aren’t the coach.

P, I usually think you have some good knowledge, but if you actually study Blair, you would know this is a really bad take….

according to Blake Ruffino

Who? The guy who used to take my info from this board and pass it off as his own? That guy.

Oh no, someone who doesn’t know the difference between facts and opinions doesn’t like me.

It’s my opinion. He was a douche when we played Oklahoma, really the only one that acted that way. And then when he got benched they got hot.

I’m sure he’s talented. I don’t care. He’s a cancer.

I will never discredit Project. We have had some really douchey and selfish guys come into this program that have proved otherwise, and maybe Blair proves to be none other than a douche. Guys get less douchey in my glasses when they're in my dugout and producing, though. Blair's projection is undeniable. He was streaky as a freshman at OU, but mostly below average. We shall see.

Send an e-mail to the 3MD Man and tell him you don't want Blair on the team.

Maybe he'll take your advise and pass on him.

I mean he is a teenager. He very well could have an ego, but if you have a good locker room, they won’t let that slide. At the end of the day, he is a 6’6 athletic freak that can fly and has so much natural ball to bat skill. Personality issues or not, I don’t think you can pass that kind of talent. If he figures it out, he’s got the ability to be a top 3 or 4 producer in our lineup.

You also should mention he hits left handed.

Jay loves left handed hitters.

Was crazy how many guys Oklahoma had at the end of the year that could hit and run. Seemed like only the catcher couldn't run and he would just hit it 400 feet instead

did not play much but in his 30 plate appearances as a freshman he went .247 with two HRs.

You sure that’s accurate? Because OU website says otherwise.

quote:

he appeared in 30 games and made 24 starts, primarily in right field, then lost his starting role before the Sooners' postseason turnaround, which ultimately pushed him into the portal. He hit .247 with two home runs, 18 RBI and 11 runs in 93 at-bats. It's unknown if Blair will again try to play two sports at his next stop.
