What is the difference between having fireworks in the stadium and a lightning storm over the tiger habitat? Are we mistreating the tiger when we have a lightning storm that could actually harm the tiger vs having him on the field? Yall are stupid as hell. I would rather have Mike on the field than a stand in, but your arguments are extreme. We have never had a tiger get sick because it was on the field. So, it may get upset. Everyone does, and so do all animals. Not a big deal to me.

Landry doesn’t give a shite about tigers or animals in general. He appointed a 28 year old woman with zero experience to head the department of wildlife and fisheries because her dad is a major Trump donor.

Everything Landry does is in his own self interest.

Well Landry got elected and has the right upon taking office to appoint who he wants. Just because you don’t like her doesn’t make her any less effective than any of her older than 28 male predecessors.

She has zero experience

It was nothing but a quid pro quo hire. Which is Landry to a T

I didn’t realize you were such a fan of hiring people based off of what their rich daddy can do for you, and not hiring people who can best serve the state of Louisiana.

Beat me to it.

Ignorant Luzianner Lifers showing their lack of intelligence.

They don't know the difference between African Lions and Asian/Indian Tigers.

And not one of these MF'ers give a shite about Mike the Tiger or Omar the Tiger.

They only care about what makes their drunken or high state better at an LSU football game..

Live Tiger on the field is just like more alcohol or crack to them.

What is the difference

When Mike VII is in his habitat he can go into his night house.

That isn't the same as being paraded around the outside in a trailer to/from the stadium and noise/fireworks vs. a thunderstorm.

This thread got into the animal rights. That’s an important issue, but it’s not really the point. That wasn’t the point of the Op.
The point has been clearly articulated by another poster.
The point is that I don’t appreciate one of my most beloved institutions being reduced to a punchline.
Our governor is a small man and a petty person, but he’s a shrewd politician .
