There is more to the Williams story than we know.

Considering we don't know anything, that's a bold take

If he had a pull then that's even more reason to not run him in the 4x400m. Don't see why you're so worked up about it.

This was the same clown saying LSU was for sure going to lose last week so we should be surprised

Did Noah Williams pull anything? If not, why didn’t he run?

Because he was completely ashamed of himself for not PRing at the regional meet, and therefore suspended himself for 1 race the next meet.

You’re a fricking retard.

If you care about local runners, look out for Gabbi Jennings in the 3000m steeplechase. She runs for Furman and was a star for First Baptist in Slidell with 44(!) state titles. She's the favorite for this race and has raced against the pros.

How is she the favorite? She has the #5 time on the season, 9 seconds back from first

I still remember when you were just a boy running the XC and track in college.

Weird how fellow OTers have grown up together over a decade.

Yeah I totally misread there. Wayment is probably the betting favorite for the steeple. But Gabbi is my favorite dammit

You friends with the recent Badwater finisher from Baton Rouge? He's MOST DEFINITELY a glutton for punishment. I do admire his dedication though. Crazy fricker.

Pedigo's title in the javelin was unexpected points and a terrific sign that LSU's going get the deal done.

You mention this every track thread. Let it go. It was a physical error.

The only men's event being contested today is the 2nd and final day of men's decathlon. Oregons decathlete has had a horrific performance through 2 of today's 5 events. This should make LSU even more comfortable, although I am hearing Noah Williams may he hurt.

If so, I mean can one team be this snakebitten two decades in a row? The amount of injuries, errors etc at nationals is incredible.

It’s being discussed by former LSU track athletes on FB. No verification, and no word on the extent of the alleged injury. It’s possible he was tight after running the 4x1 and 400m prelims and Shaver recognised having him in those events tomorrow is more valuable than having a 4x4 in the finals
