Because not everyone sees something stupid happening at LSU and says "OHMYGAWD LSU IS THE ONLY SCHOOL THIS HAS EVER HAPPEND TO". Stupid shite happens all over the place, its not isolated to LSU. But the people who react with hysterics, make it seem way worse than it is.

the only quotes in the original article are from King and his attorney, mostly Jill Craft. Sorry, I'd like to hear from the other side before deciding why he is on leave or whether it is a money grab.

This isn't really about Roy King or the quality of the band, the administration is trying take some of its money away, notably the stipends for the Golden Girls.
