Jim henderson would be an absolutely outstanding hire. He used to be the president of Northwestern State and was outstanding in his time there

Don’t know much about him. But I see a lot of unimpressive universities/colleges in his resume and no solid LSU connection.

Left LSU for Vermont...VERMONT?
He was Dean of the grad school and then vice-chancellor. He wa at LSU for decades. Yes, he left for the NE to take a PRESIDENT'S job...which in Vermont is a top 3/4 position of power in the state. I don't see how any of this is disqualifying.

Magesh Rajan, Ph.D. - Vice President for Research and Innovation at Prairie View A&M University

I guess no one from Southern was interested.

I didn’t look up pictures of everybody but it will 100% be a black guy who gets the job.

Well, then I guess it's a good thing I'm on the BOD and you are not.

Military servicemen would be my preference. After reviewing both of the following, I would extend “No Thanks” to Ronal Clark.

James Anderson, Ph.D. Former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (2020) Office of the Secretary of Defense U.S. Department of Defense

Jeff Talley is a LSU graduate and a former Chief, Army Reserve...good people and would be an interesting out of the box choice

This is a really unimpressive list.
But with La. politics so intent upon underfunding higher education, nobody really good will be willing to take the position.
La. Will not properly fund LSU, so we take what we can get in the face of that reality.

Its almost a turn off that someone would have this many degrees. There is no point to that.

The search is over. Ole Jay didnt go out on this limb, without an assurance from his boss.

He will go down in La history as one of the top POS in government. He is completely and totally self-serving. The future of LSU is very bleak

Who do you think should be on it?

I don’t really know what a good list should look like.

Wife says he's a great choice and meets the diversity hire because he's gay.

Amar Zireg, B.A. - General Manager of Goldor

LINK

Found his company. A Turkish Exporter with 50 or so employees.

When I first googled Amar Zireg and Goldor, the first 7-8 links were all related to LSU and his application.

If I had known anyone could have applied, I would have tossed my name into the ring.
