Books have opened LSU -24 at the Carrier Dome. With Eastern Michigan to follow, expecting the Tigers to come out focused and be up 28-0 at halftime. They'll rest many starters by midway through the 3rd and run run run the ball, Syracuse will manage to score some garbage-time points but it won't be enough to cover.

Hope you are right about beginning focused. I do not think we will be. If I were a betting man I would wager we do not cover. But I do understand they had to start with a big spread to get action on SU. My gut tell me:
