I don't think the game time is going to move, because the storm is so far out. But if it does, I don't see 11 a.m. as a bad thing under the circumstances.

There is no way in hell the game would be moved to Shreveport

Moreover, why would LSU move the game to a different location and put more fans on the roads with those already evacuating? Insane.

this whole thing is crazy. THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!

we dont even know where the damn thing is gonna land. if they evacuate everybody and then the storm doesnt come anywhere near us, its gonna be like the boy who cried wolf next time. i think they need to slow thier roll and just wait and see what the storm is gonna do before they ruin my weekend and cancel the game.

That only makes sense, since the storm moved a little SW last night...

Up...as in a noon kickoff? That poses a new set of potential problems for LSU, since the chance of fans becoming ill due to the heat will increase greatly.

Jindal stated today that IF contraflow would be in place then it wouldnt occur until 30 hours out.. The storm is predicted currently to make landfall on Tuesday morning at 8am. So why would we need contraflow on Saturday??

I understand people being cautious...play the game. The hurricane is still far away, not even in the Gulf. I get the evacuation process. I guess it reall yis a gamble...damned if you prepare, damned if you don't!!!

I'm not doubting you or your friend's info, but there was an article put out by KHOU that the Astrodome (I know it's not Reliant) wouldn't be open to evacuees because it doesn't make sense to move people from one possible hurricane zone to another. Don't you think this would apply here? People on the road here that would be stuck if Gus doesn't make the turn.

the bad thing is if hanna goes through fla hello game #2

Hello game #2 with Gustav. It will affect Sept. 6 more than Aug. 30.
They cancel the App. State game we could easily lose the first two games of the season.
