My dad and son are in Baton Rouge for the game. They are flying out of New Orleans on Sunday. Any suggestions on best time to head to N.O.?? Any word on "official" start time for contraflow???

My 13 year old is en-route to his first game in Tiger Stadium. He got to see the Tigers massacre the U of A Wildcats several years ago and of course, we made it to the ASU/LSU game in Tempe after Katrina!!! He loves the whole atmosphere!!!! There is nothing and no fan base like LSU fans!!!!!

What about leaving after the game on Saturday??? Probably not optimal, but maybe better then traffic on Sunday?? My son's flight is out of New Orleans on Sunday about noon. I think they are planning on going over early, just to get to the destination.

It is an LSU season opener...home gate to boot!!!! The stadium will be insane!!!!
