That’s fair. I haven’t tried to really listen to him in a while so maybe he’s changed. During football season he would get on there and yell about how Nuss wasn’t injured, he just sucked because he was lazy and didn’t put in any work during the offseason. It was hard for me to get anything of substance.

Louisiana vs All Y’all is a good one for recruiting right now. Jerit Roser sits down with Sam Spiegelman and runs through LA recruiting updates about every other week. It’s the one time Jerit isn’t at the mercy of bad microphones. Both guys are really in touch with the local scene.

Try Locked on LSU
This. He is MUCH easier to listen to in that 30 minute span.

If someone would take Moscona's Locked On daily show and just edit out all the call backs to take credit for saying something, and the time spent twisting himself into knots to promote how well connected he is or explain why he was right even when he was wrong, it would be a really good way to stay connected... even if what's left was only about 5-7 minutes.
yea I live in NC so I have to take what I can get as far as LSU stuff but yea I find myself having to fast forward constantly while listening on my commute
Oh well, first world problems

Hunt Palmer is my favorite local guy. But the Bengal Tiger and Tigerbait guys are good too. They all just keep it real, it's about the content instead of it being about themselves.
Boycott Moscona. He's an ultra-fake, theatrical, insecure, desperate for attention, baby who is all about himself instead of the content or LSU.

During football season is the only time Hester and Flynn show is decent. Moscone is annoying and over saturated with ads, but very talented. Hunt Palmer is my favorite but football is his weakest sport.
Gordy Rush is the best in the business for LSU football, but he does not have his own show.

Don't try this.

Moscona = journalist
Lady scone is more serious about his peptide routine than he is getting his info right.

AYS. Much less of a poser and much less insecure

Yeah I am going to go ahead and disagree with you there. Just because you have journalism degree and work in media it doesn’t make you a journalist

You have no credibility if you think that.

Well that is your opinion. My opinion is that these talking heads are not journalists they are just talking heads and give their opinions.

Just because you don’t recognize the medium has changed and that you don’t like the messenger doesn’t erase that this is a form of journalism

In the new podcast era and with reporters being on TV sports shows, can't both of these be true at the same time?

Moscona for Locked On. It’s a summary. Good stuff. No need for the other stuff he does as it makes its way to Locked On in a tighter package daily.
AYS if you like emotional super fan type commentary. I like it. Gets me hyped. But I can see how Blake’s strong personality can be off-putting at times. Sometimes he’s hilarious. Sometimes he’s a bit much.
Carter is good because he’s laid back but has good insights that I find valuable. His breakdowns are solid. Just lots of dead air time and a relatively small audience (for now at least).
Tingle and Co are just a 2 hour hang but they cover the LSU sports beat well.
I used to love the Pod of Geauxld podcast but those guys don’t put them out very often.
The official LSU podcast network (forgot its name) puts out well-produced podcasts every so often and they get good interviews with their access, but it feels more like state-run media than a thorough and honest breakdown or opinion.
Looking forward to the Honey Badger’s podcast tomorrow with Lane Kiffin.

They are all way, way too long. I just don't have that much free time. If they shortened them I might listen more.

I wish Hunt would start doing a basketball podcast again now since WW is back. Hoping he will.
I can take Mascona in small doses like driving home from work. I don't dislike him as much as some but that's enough. I would like another forum for football that I can listen too other than his. Hanny only does once a week a film study on football and I love Hanny but not as big a fan of Dixon. Not a Carter Power Hour fan either.
Shea Dixon's podcast is decent for football IMHO but I think someone could do better?

That is what Locked LSU is for. They are 20-30 minute episodes. I listen to them in the morning when I go for a walk or run.
