LSU should do all they can to fight a bowl game with ND

Will be yet another low upside high downside game against a team/staff/and fan base highly motivated to beat us.

Clemson would be a GREAT game - and we should win. ND is a toss up b/c they can control the line of scrimmage similar to what AtM did in 1st half. Nothing to gain by playing ND. Media would eat it up b/c of the Kelly connection. However, they would be a worthy opponent.

The matchup in regards to winning doesn't bother me at all. What is annoying is playing a team we've played in multiple bowls in recent years. I really wish there was bowl tie in where we could play a west coast team like Arizona that we have only played 3 times in our history.

I don’t want to play Notre Dame. Tired of playing them. And no I’m not scared of ND. We’d beat them by 14+ even with our terrible defense.
I also don’t want to play some shitty BIG team from that terrible division.
Whatever bowls have us matched against the BIG, I don’t want.

How bad does Iowa have to lose to Michigan to knock them out of a NY6? Our offense against their defense would be a fascinating matchup.
And I’m not scared of Notre Dame in the slightest. But that would be the 3rd time we’ve played them in a lower-tier bowl in the past 10 seasons. The next time I want to see them is in the 12-team team playoff.

Bowls, outside of playoff are merely a chance for young guys to get playing time. Not exactly apples to apples if jd, Thomas, and nabers don’t play.

Notre Dame would be sky high for the game and media looks for reasons to dunk on BK and losing to ND would be the perfect opportunity for them to clown us. Meanwhile a win doesn’t do us nearly as much good.
