Explain the other 5 coaches IN the SEC West.

Some of our fan base will NEVER be happy with anything. LSU could win a dozen championships and there will be a group that posts “well we aren’t as good as an NFL team.” It’s always superpowers or jump off a cliff.

Coach who was just fired arse raped new USC coach 63-28 just two years ago. Yeah, we really wanted Little Bitch Lincoln who Aranda just plowed two weeks ago and is so afraid to compete in the SEC, he heads to the west coast.

There was always gonna be folks who didn't like the hire...no matter who LSU chose. Its a good hire.

Please. When was the last time Notre Dame was nationally relevant? Not since Reagan was president. They've backed into the conversation three times on name recognition alone and shite the bed all three times. They play in a conference where Wake Forest and Pitt are playing for the title. Everyone knows Notre Dame is soft but we hire their coach and suddenly everyone is acting like they are world-beaters!

Hey dumbass, their current schedule is ranked as the 16th hardest, thats tougher than half the sec schools this season.

And you just answered your own question, he took over a dumpster fire of a program from weiss and willingham and made them relevant.

Settled on Notre Dame's all time winningest coach. What a crazy world we find ourselves in.

Yeah I don’t think this dude knows how to comprehend.

29 winning seasons in 31 years of coaching

Really? We're going to count the 13 years of Grand Valley State wins in the total? C'mon, man. That is some Curley Hallman-level shite right there

Jesus, ok, 16 winning seasons in 18 years if you want to take out that stint, 10 of those 16 seasons being 10+ win seasons including three 11-win seasons and two 12-win seasons.

He put Cincy on the map having their first ranked team in 30 years (all of his teams finished ranked), he had their first undefeated 10+ win regular season/top 5 finish in history and was the first ND coach since 1989 to win 12 games in a season there (and he has finished in the top 5 multiple times when that hadn't happened there in about 2 decades before his teams did it).

He wasn’t on anyone’s radar because no one could fathom him leaving a team that most folks view as having the easiest path to the CFP each year.

It had zero to do with his abilities.

That’s what the media are so upset this morning. They never saw it coming.

Lincoln fricking Riley had no interest in coming to LSU, as did Jimbo cant beat Ed O Fisher, nor did any other coach. frick em all....Brian Kelly manned up. Quit crying about the ones that didnt want to be here and enbrace the one that did.

Newsflash...Baton Rouge is a fricking ghetto. Hell you have to drive past a ghetto to get to the stadium.

Traffic is such a bitch you cant keep asses in the stands a full game. Watch the games on National TV and by halftime the stadium is half empty.

BR needs to clean up because it reminds me of New Orleans. So only a real man would dare come here mind you he is getting $15 mil a year.

And for Gods sake make whomever is olaying that God awful song constantly ....La la la louisane ghetto arse rap crap....stop playing that shite.

And yes im black so kma if you dont like it

In our entire history, LSU has never made a hire of this profile or this caliber. If this is settling, I'm alright with it.

Get back to KU football - nice win over Texas by the way.

We just picked up the best hire we could have made. There was no settling here.

Face it. Kelly wasn’t on anybody’s radar b/c he wasn’t a top choice

bullshite. He wasn’t on anyone’s radar because most thought he was untouchable and would never consider leaving ND

Sure, past success doesn’t guarantee future success, but there is no measure that says this is anything but a slam dunk hire.

Notre Dame is the bluest of the blue bloods and LSU just went and stole the winningest coach in their history.

Only LSU fans would take a shite on something that significant

That's why I come here. the entertainment. We "settled" for a coach that has won everywhere he has been. Who has been successful on the big stage. That is a hilarious take. Just because his name wasn't being pushed by the mouthpieces you think we settled. Dude, if Les and O can win championships here, Kelly can too.

ND practically plays in the ACC as far as scheduling goes.

I don’t know if we settled, but I don’t believe he was the top choice considering who all was out there.
