As a Christian, I am offended that everything is sorted through some political correctness machine. I am sure if I wrote out a hundred thousand dollar check to LSU and wrote a scripture notation at the bottom, LSU would cash that check in a tricking heartbeat.

Guess what LSU, I am offended. WTH is my political correctness?

What a crock of crap airbrushing it out! What religion would LSU be endorsing if they showed a picture of fans with a cross! Catholic? First Baptist???

Christianity is now-a-days being treated like it is some disease. Shameful and embarrasing to me that LSU would do something like that.

Since when does it mean that LSU endorses every religion that has a religious item appear in a picture they publish???

Stupid move by Admin. They're students, not paid LSU employees.

THEY aren't bitching.

This whole deal is so stupid.

LSU likes a photo and wants to use it.
In order to avoid controversy, LSU airbrushes the photo to remove crosses on the subjects' bodies.
As a result, people are ticked off and LSU has to make a statement explaining the decision.
People are ticked off even more.
The real question is which idiot(s) at LSU thought removing the crosses would go unnoticed?
LSU should have just selected some other photo. Right or wrong, the decision started a ruckus that was unnecessary and not worth the photo. LSU looks stupid for not taking another option.

What kind of fricked up logic is that. Anything that anyone can legal do you MUST agree with??? Legal doesn't mean we have to think it is a good thing!

Oh and pretty sure they have the legal right to not like it, so you should shutup about them by your own stupid logic!

seems like Christians are the ones making a big deal about something trivial in this situation.

LSU should have not used their image at all. It will just call more attention to these ridiculous zealots. I am a devout Christian, yet I find this kind of attention drawing behavior offensive. This kind of thing makes a mockery of of Christianity.
I can only imagine what Christ would have thought.

If LSU was going to use the image, they did the right thing in removing the religious imagery from the photo.

This is directed at TigerBait 1127:

Sure you can call me a pussy... Clap Clap here is your cookie. Enjoy it while you still can.

As for as "Christians" making a big deal out of it... Yes I am making a big deal out of it because I actually believe in something.

Obviously it isn't just trivial to you either. Otherwise, you wouldn't be commenting on the subject. Why do you even care? You are an Atheist. Why even comment?

You may want to rethink what you believe because I think you don't even know.

LSU is using the image of those students in a promotion for Geaux-Mail. A good lawyer could sue for the censorship of their image along with using their image for an advertising campaign without paying them.
