Maybe he got the Jameis Winston surgery, and he can actually see the catcher's signs and mitt

Putting Shores in the Sunday slot makes a lot of sense while he is working to get back in form. I like this rotation.

Rec spec Dutton gave us the Will Hellmers outing we didn't even know we wanted.

Chalk. That was my suspected rotation.

Best case scenario these guys shove and Ware can be your Herring this year.

He would go 3 up 3 down one inning, then not be able to find the plate the next inning.

his problem was never about being able to pitch strikes, it was being able to miss bats. He only had 6 walks over 27.2 IP. But he had a .286 BAA. For pitchers on our team who threw more than 10 innings, only Loer, Little, and Hurd were worse in that metric

Can’t believe Dutton is Saturday starter for Auburn

Rotation is about what I expected.

Dutton could get outs in spurts, but man he would give up huge bombs at really inconvenient times last year
yes. If he was penciled in as a weekend starter for us I would be alarmed.

his problem wasn’t finding the strike zone

it was the ball getting through the strike zone and not ending up in the outfield.

I would like to see Schmidt start Tuesday against Southern and Mayers start Wednesday against Nicholls in Thibodaux.

I don't think they wait until the midweek to get Schmidt in a game. Conversely, if they do intend to start him next week, it could be useful to have him throw a relief inning Friday and start on the road in front of a rowdy away crowd.

That should out an end to the Gavin Guidry being a starter debate

I think we would go johnny full staff before Guidry gets taken out the bullpen on Friday and Saturday.

Can’t win the series if you don’t win one of those games.

Several options before we get to Guidry.

He is exactly where he belongs. Back of the bullpen on the bump with the game on the line.

Regardless, its nice to have options. Because ineffectiveness and injuries will happen. And we’ll probably need guidry to eat up 3-4 innings at some point, whether its the front or back end

Schmidt will probably pitch this weekend. May or may not throw during the week. It was just a scenario that I'd like to see. Give the Southern game to Schmidt to get his confidence up. Give the Nicholls game to Mayers to let him have at his boys.
