If Nuss has the year everyone is hoping, then yes. Otherwise he ain’t nowhere near Rushmore worthy

Dude, this is LSU. We ain’t exactly “known” for our “great QB play” with the exception of recently. You ain’t got a lot of options out there for a “Mount Rushmore”.

Pretty much every other position you could name several players worthy of being on a Mount Rushmore or players, but not QB.

Jones. Hodson. Burrow. Daniels.

Can't put J Rock on the list. He had THREE first round receivers and only scored 3 points at Auburn and cost us a national championship.

One of these should be excluded for excessive years in college.

What? Prior to burrow and daniels,Jamarcus was the gold standard for qb play at lsu.

2006 JRuss Season in lsu history
Tied for 1st in passing tds
2nd in most passing yards
1st in completion %
2nd in total offense

He was atleast top 3 in every major career passing stat in lsu history.

I feel like Hodson should be in here over Ro. And I love Ro.

Don't know enough about the college careers of Bert Jones and Tittle to rank them.

Every LSU QB pre-2000 stat line is dogshit compared to today. I realize different game, but the difference is just astronomical between then and now. Most are sub 1,500 yards passing, sub 55% completion rate, and closer to 1:1 TD to INT ratio, I don't think any are 2:1 or better. It appears Hodson is only pre 2000 QB that'd have quasi acceptable stats today.

Bert Jones:
1st yr: 546 yards, 52% rate
2nd yr: 945 yards, 55% rate
3rd yr: 1,446 yards, 52% rate

Stats like that now would have Sloan and BK fired. I realize a different game then, but how could you put that ahead of Nuss 4,000+ yards and 64% rate.

Burrow, Jayden, Russel, Nuss
