It wasn’t my fave at first glance either, but did you read the history behind it when they announced it? That makes it sweeter. Read the link provided if you didn’t catch that original story in 2018.

I think what throws off the gold jerseys for me is the no shoulder stripes. Purple and white shoulder stripes would definitely make them look cleaner.

I whole hardheartedly agree with this:
"I'd love to wear the old gold helmets again but with the normal LSU helmet stripes. Such a good look."
