Has F King apologized to China yet?

It’s deteriorated due to fricks like F. King constantly removing free parking, free tailgate spots, and charging every penny for every little thing possible.
He sold LSU’s football soul down the river for a temporary dollar
Did all that start with King Alexander, I think that predates him. Next, do you think that was not done with de facto approval of the LSU BOS. All of that, and LSU will not publicly admit it, was a way to stop some of the rowdy behavior from fans who came out and took spots on campus without tickets. People who had tickets and just wanted to go the game without all the other issues likely had something to do with what went down.
Parking and tailgate spots in premium locations are sort of commodity, they have a market that some people will pay for, some of course will choose not to pay.
Now I do not tailgate and park on the perimeter of the campus or by friends who live in near South Downs and walk if I have to, but I never did tailgate or park right on campus even before the pay policy went into place.

You made this damn argument the other day. And even point out tiger rag was banned before any of these students were in school.
Im guessing you never went to LSU, but the people complaining now we're little shits back when they were teenagers too.
And plus, LSU has always been a gracious host. Are their fights? Yeah, at every sporting event around the world.
Most of us had been hosting tailgates and friends and families before the president even had LSU as a thought. He doesn't need to patronize and tell us how to act.
We have a reputation of being the best tailgate and best hosts.
You want a tame atmosphere? You go to the rent a win family day.
No need to take it personal. Again, my arguments are just an assessment of what is going on. I may have went to LSU, I may not have, I may have worked at LSU, I may still work at LSU, all of my family graduated from LSU, or maybe some of them went to LSU.
The reality is that the LSU Admin has more and more stopped songs from being played by the LSU band. That is official LSU policy which suggest that this is coming from the LSU BOS. The statement by King Alexander is just another public statement by an LSU Administrator in line with what has been gong on now for 15 years. This did not start with King Alexander. I went back and looked and Tiger Rag was banned in 2006. I think Skip was AD and O'Keefe was President in 2006 and Lombardi was the System President.
My first LSU game was 1970 when Archie Manning came to town for the record. No I am not calling for a tame atmosphere, but I still don't think LSU should officially sanction the band playing songs that turn into Profanity laced Chants. That is my position. What individuals do is there business, you want to chant those chants, go ahead, not my business. My only point is that what King Alexander stated about fan behavior and profanity chants, etc did not start with him. This started a long time ago.
Let me put it this way, have you ever heard any member of the LSU BOS come out publicly and say, we need to go back to free tailgates for anybody who wants one, we need to let the band play whatever song the students want to hear, Neck, Tiger rag, the song or tune that Oweeeeeeooo was chanted to. All of them are banned by LSU. Do you really think that is a coincidence?

You keep saying this. It was out of rotation for a few seasons and is being played now, and has been for several years. It was literally played this past Saturday.

Also still being played.
Do you not go to games any longer?
Posted on 10/10/19 at 4:03 pm to MickeyLikesDags21
Um, they are not invited guests!!! We are forced to play those douches, just like they forced us to play at their house 3 years in a row!

No I was at the game against Utah State, and stayed the entire game. I totally missed hearing that song. Maybe went to rest room break when it was played.

Agree to disagree. The hundreds of thousands of people who tailgated made the experience the best in the nation

So you don’t like tailgating. Got it. You probably don’t like people standing up to yell on big third downs either

BATON ROUGE - Ahead of the Tigers' biggest home game of the season thus far, LSU Insider Vanilla Ice is asking University President F. King Alexander to stop being a pretentious, douchebag cuck on gameday and every other day.
A letter sent out from the Office of Vanilla Ice Thursday reminded F King to “get fricked” and that he is only a "representative of" LSU in title because he is hated by the fan base as the Tigers take the national spotlight for the huge match-up with the Florida Gators.
"We still have dumbass JBE in office, but not for long. Your days are numbered, you fricking imbecile. Your firing is the last remaining domino to restoring LSU to greatness. Please stop sitting in the corner and watching as other men rail that hideous beast you call your wife," the letter read in part. The Tigers and Gators will kickoff in Tiger Stadium at 7 p.m. Saturday.

You misunderstand...it's not like these songs were brought back for Utah St...they've been back for several seasons at least. Having somehow missed them for several years seems, well...odd.
The only song that is not being played is Neck.

So the entire LSU BOS are fricks. As for tailgating, No I don't tailgate and I don't have problems with people who do. I do believe when LSU holds only 100,000 people in the stands and there were 150,000 people on campus, it was an issue. Too many people who had not tickets would come out for big games, set up tailgate spots which would result in too many drunks at the game.
Did you happen to go by campus on Sunday mornings and see that it looked like after games like the one I described above.
As for the yelling on 3rd down, etc, Your post above were well written and showed civil and rationale debate, this statement was not so much.

In all seriousness, I have not missed but 3 home games since 2001 (Saban's 2nd year), the Bama games in 2010 and last year when I gave my tickets to some family members who wanted to go but could not find tickets from other sources and the Fresno State game in 2006 when a major down pour hit Baton Rouge about the time I was leaving and there was street flooding in my area of town.
I think it is a modified version of Tiger rag that is being played, not the original or Traditional version that was recorded back in like 1918 or so, that I heard as a kid starting in 1970, my first LSU game I saw in person. So I guess the modern version does not register or it is played when I am not in the stadium. I admit I do not get into my seat until about 10 minutes before Kickoff usually so if it is being played if the modified version is being played in pre-game, I do not hear it. Usually I get on campus about 3 hours before the game, my wife will go to Mass at Christ the King and I will sit in the Union and watch the 2:30 game as long as I can.

Why would he say that? Fan altercations is an immaterial thing. This is such a loser, and I hate to say it, pussy liberal thing from our Pres
Posted on 10/10/19 at 4:50 pm to lsupride87
No sure, I just read the fan alert sent out around 10 am this morning where LSU stated they are expecting way more people on campus than those who have tickets and that will be seated in the stadium. Again, this is only a hypothesis, but when you have crowds like this, there are always some people who get a little to loaded and cause trouble. I think that statement is directed at "those folks" not the loyal season ticket holders who come and cheer loud and represent LSU with class and dignity.

Normally I agree with the sentiment of being a good host and making sure the vistors have positive things to take home about LSU.
But frick that for Florida. If you've ever been to a game in Gainesville, you know.
