Will be there Thursday and it’s the only game in this series I can attend. So basically my last of the year. I absolutely care if we win this game.

WGAF?

I do, for a few reasons:

1. I love the Tigahs, and I'm not a fairweather fan d-bag.

2. I hate UF, every sport, almost as much as I love LSU. We could F up their post season seeding royally, and that would make me very happy.

3. LSU baseball gets weird late in the season. I've followed closely this year, and I know how bad they've been. But you never know...

Meh…it’s ok to check out when the team is terrible, completely irrelevant, and most of the roster will be purged in the coming weeks. No one will take your super fan card away from you, you don’t have to pretend this series matters

Im sure paz and cowan wont throw 60 or more pitches, need them for next week.
Its also possible we throw evans a short 1-2 innings this week and start either him or schmidt on tuesday

If he’s actually saving Schmidt for opening round of the SEC tourney than that would be an interesting move by him. But I am curious how he uses all the pitchers this weekend.

I would start Rizy. His last outing was decent. The one before that he got hit a little bit but was keeping the ball in the strike zone. I don't think he's unsalvageable. I think we have three games where the outcome really doesn't matter because our only way in is to win the tournament, so use these to try to fix literally anything that can be fixed at this point and get next year's guys some ABs and innings.

Him and some of the freshmen should get more time than previous weeks with the tourney starting next week. If Rizzy can stay in the zone his stuff is good enough. Still hopeful for his development for next season.

I think the goal should be sweeping Florida and then stacking as many wins in the SECT as possible; not punting this series to save arms for the tournament.

I would throw my best guys Thursday and Friday and then have those same guys ready for Wednesday and Thursday of the tournament (if you make it past Tuesday).

If you get to that point, you have won 6 straight games and probably don't make it further than that but winning 6 straight games against tough teams would have your RPI in the 40s and possibly in line for an at large if Jay bribes the committee.

It looks like Jay wants to save his best arms for Tuesday and Wednesday of the SECT with the intention of bringing them back on Saturday and Sunday in an attempt to win the whole thing.

You walk guys and it’s all over.

I hate this more than anyone else, but this is what they've been doing all season. It's not going to somehow magically disappear this weekend.

Hmmm, free passes I hope to see no more next season...

the chances of making it at-large are basically slim to none at this point

RPI of 57 (right now) and best case of 12-18 SEC record

I highly highly doubt sweeping UF and winning 4 games making the title game in SECt would be enough to get us in at-large. 12-18 SEC (or worse) teams typically never make the tournament, and certainly not with where our RPI will be at (best case mid 40s winning 7 in a row?)

I think its clear the only real path here is go all out for the SECt which he seems to be doing

I don't know, but he recently posted his Todd Graves NIL mandated posts on Twitter. And the only other times guys have done that, they've been on the shelf.

It's absolutely likely that I'm reading too much into that. But I took note when I saw it because of the pattern I noticed.

Facebook is rife with AI bots pushing fake stories. I've seen so many weirdly titled Cardinals pages saying Ozzie Smith died over the last couple years.
