No one can complain about adding this game.
Kudos athletic dept for making it happen.
This will be a great game and great exposure.

LSU doesn't need exposure.

I shall drive down I-35 and be there for this one

Awesome! I hope it kicks off the Gary Patterson or Will Muschamp era.

quote:nice...this will finally put to rest the notion that LSU loses money on these neutral-site games.
LSU will earn $3.25-3.5 million for the game, which eclipses the net the university hauls in for a home game against non-BCS level program – Ausberry estimated the revenue at about $2.2 million.
Perhaps, LSU playing a OOC game in Houston is just a formality now...

Ooof, were they ready to start the season? They didn't have their top running back and they didn't even need to play Seastrunk in the game and hung 72 on NM.
My A&M friend was saying though not to get too excited about Oregon's showing because the Aggies beat NM pretty badly in the opener last year (41-6), and the Aggies had a pretty mediocre season with blowout losses to K-State, OK, Arky and UGA.

Great! What's the attendance Over/Under?
I'll go with 85,000

Has Oregon played anyone in the SEC recently. I know several years ago they beat Miss. State pretty good. Since then?
