Line stinks… everyone will pump Aggy which means Vegas knows something. The smart money is on LSU here

It has already moved up to LSU -10. Is there something going on with A&M?

vegas has lost their mind on this one.

LSU may win but no way in hell we cover the spread.

Put the house on A&M!

Seemingly. But "Vegas" rarely loses their mind.

Hopefully all the weak LSU basketball fans don’t decide not to show up tonight now that LSU has lost a couple games

Maybe Vegas forgot that Days is hobbled and Pinson is out.

They don’t “forget” things like that. Vegas doesn’t build new casinos every year by “forgetting” things.

Also it isn't unrealistic that LSU runs away with this one. They were ready to blast RKansas at home until they decided to stop scoring at the end

People always say Vegas must know something. This statement is so ridiculous. Vegas sets a line based on their metrics that they think is accurate and will get equal money on each side. Then it guarantees they win. Vegas doesn't want a high majority of money on one side.

As far as this game the line hasn't really moved much meaning money is on both sides. So the line Vegas set accomplished what it needed to. Got money on both sides. Doesn't mean they "know" something. What that Aggie plans on throwing the game tonight? Come on

LSU hasn't really "run away" from anyone in SEC play outside of Tennessee. The last game where LSU was at full strength. By all indications they won't be tonight.

As for the Arkansas game, sure LSU seemed ready to "run away". But this offense hasn't been efficient enough to run away from teams. The fact that they did not run away from Arkansas was more expected than not.

For their part A&M has a good record. But they have played a pretty favorable schedule. They have played 6 SEC games to date. Only one has been against a likely NCAAT team (Kentucky)...which they lost. Still, a 9.5 line seems high for a team (LSU) who is only averaging 63 ppg in SEC play. The thought being can LSU even score enough to get a 9-10 point victory? You're talking about LSU likely having to hold A&M to 55 or below to give LSU a chance to score enough to secure a 9-10 point win (if you are just looking at the raw numbers)

Exactly.

And we've been averaging a tick below 60 points a game since Pinson's been out.

I would be very surprised if LSU covers a 10 point spread.

So... hammer the Under 131?

Is A&M missing anyone themselves? I just don't see the -9.5 and as everyone knows here I am as optimistic about basketball as anyone. I would hammer the under and A&M in this one. I still think the Tigers win but I have us by 5.
