From a very basic review, Nike pays LSU, Georgia, USC and Alabama between 3 and 5 million per year.

looks like we get $1,000,000 cash and almost $5,000,000 in products at wholesale price.

Ah, I failed to mention or ask about recruiting.

Makes sense. Good info though. Prompting new questions

Why the disparity in payments between pac and sec programs?

Would you dare shelf Nike ($3mm) for UCLAs deal? Not saying we get $18mm
But say, $10mm?

Could the disparity in money offset the brand recognition in recruiting via recruiting budget?

I imagine recruits will love whoever gives them the most NIL money, then they can buy anything they want

Florida's Jordan Brand deal makes them the only school in the conference with a brand deal. I'm sure there's an expiration on that agreement, but I don't know when.

UA is trash. Every UA product I see looks like something you'd get at Walmart.

Adidas team apparel is just as awful. Adidas makes great shoes, and that is it.

The only thing I want are some purple and gold retro Jordans (1's, 4's, 5's - it doesn't matter)

You can get P&G color ways in Jordan 1s thanks to a certain team on the west coast

4 and 5 doent get as many color ways that are not retro.

NIL money matters but some guys have NFL aspirations and realize that they will want to go where they have the best chance to succeed in their sport. This applies especially to sports that do not have massive NIL money flowing (swim/tennis/track/soccer/golf/etc.)

Some kids just love the brands and facilities. Some kids are so obsessed with Nike they will go to Oregon just for that reason alone. It's not as simple as "most NIL offered = school of choice".

Having gone through high school in the late 2000s, Under Armour was THE brand kids wanted to get into. It was on par with Nike for football. It still have a strong brand with football.
I have friends who went to P5 programs from 2010-2020 and they despise under armour for football. Nike is in a tier of it's own.

Jordan brand the football uni’s are terrible

They’re literally the same template as Nike uniforms, except the Jumpman replaces the swoosh. The only difference is that players will have access to Jordan shoes which have potential to help in recruiting.

FSU is getting a new style of jerseys called the Vapor F.U.S.E.

The only issue with these is that the shoulder stripes wouldn’t necessarily work on this template. Similar to the template used in the Mett/OBJ years that stretched down to the armpit.

They’ll likely wear it in an alternate game this season.

I'll take UA any day and all day before any of the other brands simply because they support veterans.

The only school that takes genuine pride in the Jordan brand is UNC for obvious reasons.
