No one cares. No one watches the games anymore. Thanks Woodward

why are you blaming woodward? No cared about LSU basketball before Woodward , they don't care now and they won't care after.

Man, I remember the fun Dale Brown teams from the '80's and '90's, along with Brady's 2006 team. Yeah Dale underachieved with some SERIOUS talent, but nothing beats the '86 Final Four run and the '87 Elite Eight run (1 point away from back to back Final Fours). Plus, I was lucky enough to see Chris Jackson in person. BEST I've ever seen in the college game!!! All most of the young ones can remember Will Wade and his team's Sweet Sixteen run. Yes, Wade brought excitement back, but the 80's and early '90's were WILD!

but the PMAC atmosphere is dead.

PMAC seating is garbage. Students haven’t been rowdy for years, with the exception of the Wade era.

Johnny and Trent had an isolated good season. Brady ended with duds.

Wrong, just wrong. You weren't around during the period from 1977-1992. Basketball RULED, during a time of increasingly fallow football fortunes and a developing baseball dynasty.

I watch. I try to go when I can. My expectations aren’t final four or bust but supporting the purple and gold isn’t conditional on them being good. It’s because it’s LSU.

He is on pace to pull in a 3rd straight solid recruiting class. There are some nice pieces there.

Curley had some nice recruiting classes in the 90’s.

Program definitely needs an infusion of some positivity. The apathy overall from the fanbase is worse than the Trent Johnson era. Brady had decent clubs but the fans had a major disconnect with him. The excitement level under Wade was over the top. Then the shiteshow followed and how his dismissal was handled basically put the program into the abyss. A self imposed death penalty that they are still feeling the effects of. Welcome to the cellar of the SEC for a while.
