LSU Legend Angel Reese makes basketball history, transcending the WNBA

Angel Reese has become the second fastest player in basketball history to record 900+ rebounds. Not just WNBA. All of basketball. The only player to reach that mark faster? Fellow LSU Legend Shaq.
It doesn’t stop there! Our Queen has also recorded 57 double doubles in her first 75 games. That is the second most in the history of basketball. NBA and WNBA. Only one has recorded more in their first 75. Any guesses? That would also be Shaq.
So much HERstory made by Angel already in her young career. I’m glad she finally got out of that trash organization in Chicago and has made it to a team like the Atlanta Dream where she can truly flourish.
Congrats Angel! Keep being Great and making the racists and haters mad. Your number will be hanging from the rafters of the Our Lady of the Lake Arena right next to Shaq one day!

Except that it doesn’t prove that at all. There’s a whole litany of things that could cause a player to be looked upon unfavorably in the eyes of the general public.
You don’t have to always make everything about race automatically by default.
