Not the case anymore. The new pitching coach eased those concerns. The Rant just hasn’t caught up yet

He got the rep of shredding arms and they don’t line the approach he takes with hitters.
He does have a title and he built uva from nothing, however until this year he was down a bit and even this year he wasn’t great despite ending up in Omaha

Problem is Paul is friends with him.
Also Scotty doesn’t hire assistant coaches though quite a few have done well lately in college.
I like Johnson at zona but years 2-4 were horrendous.
I think Vitello has the most bang for our buck
