What? Our best win all season was against a 4 loss team (that Kentucky beat ) and you think that makes us top 6?

agreed with that, but also the only teams in the country that you could say would be favored against LSU if the game were played today would be Clemson and Alabama, so in that regard, as to which are the best teams in the country today, LSU would be right there. So just in that regard LSU is the 3rd best team in the country, not going by the polls or records,. OF course LSU is not the 3rd best team in the country in regards to record which is how teams are judged and "what you are".

bullshite.

Ohio state, Michigan, and fsu would be a favorite over lsu.
Lsu has done nothing this year that shows we can beat the top 5 teams in cfb. Our best win of the season was to a 4 loss UL team.

I'm not sure we're the 3rd best team in the country, but there is not doubt that the difference between LSU and the top 5 teams is a small one. We're close to being in the hunt. Very close.

I am amused that you keep saying we only beat a 4 loss UL team considering we gave them that 4th loss. Kind of like saying the Noles only decent win was against a 3 loss Michigan team.

Well, as much as I want to believe you, i think that we are a top 10 team, at best...
I would lovw the opportunity to continue this argument on the fielld over the next couple of months, but, baseball season is getting ready to start...

And as always,

This is true. Hell, even Vegas still has us ranked #3, saying we would have been favored over all teams on a neutral field except bama and OSU. Of course, all the O haters are in here disagreeing........and hoping like hell we don't do well. Hell, under O, Lsu blew out everyone it played but bama and Florida, and say what you want but Lsu had 400+ yards against Florida and could have and should have been a blow out there to except for major player mistakes, 2 huge miscues each by Jackson and guice, and I believe a missed easy field goal.

The offense put up plenty of points and yards today, but people are still bitching. You are always going to get that from those that want to be right about O and hope he fails, and those that want a black qb.

Dude, Vegas has already came out and said Lsu would be a favorite over everyone but bama, and Ohio St. Im sure that sports book was lying though just to piss you off, because they know you don't approve of the O hire, and to say we were favored over those teams would mean we are a lot better than you give credit for.

Fully healthy with Beckwith, LF we are probably top 5 or better in talent but we have been that or better for years.

Losses matter. Even if you give us a pass for the Wisc and Aub losses bcs of Miles. The loss to Florida coupled with the Bama loss should end any discussion that we belong in the top 3.

All things considered I think are a legit top 12 maybe top 10. But there are other teams that had early season issues like Oklahoma and USC that you can make a case are also better than their record.

The defense is elite the Offense is still a work in progress and we remain hamstrung by QB play. Not to knock DE, I think he played about as well as he is capable. But it's still a weakness.

I think we prolly end up being ranked about where we should be 12-15. That fair for a team with 4 losses.

It is funny how you guys keep bashing etling. Bh, aj, and jj would love to have had the production that etling has brought to the offense....yet it isn't pretty at times and he isn't awing you with blazing speed or strong arm...so he sucks. I mean bh can throw it far baw....but what good is that if you can't think on your feet nor hit the side of a barn. The truth is that the Lsu offense under etling post Les Miles played well enough to blow out every team except bama. The Florida game wasn't on etling...thank Jackson and guice for that game.

But by all means, bitch away. Bottom line is Lsu would be favored over every team in the country but bama and maybe 1 or 2 more, at most. They are the second best team in the conference....sure wish they were playing OU in the sugar instead of auburn.

I agree with that. The polls or even an espn analyst can't and wouldn't say LSU is #3 in the country. Just what people are saying is that there are probably only 2-3 teams that would beat LSU on the field right now these days.

People laugh but its true. Whether we are the third best team or not we would not have lost to WISCONSIN or AUBURN without Miles' dumb arse T the helm.
