I like it, he is certainly deserving of the honor. and this means more to him and LSU than "Skip Bertman Drive" ... LSU baseball as we know it today was "born" under Skip.

Considering he turned down MLB and several other top jobs including Texas, I think he's earned that distinction especially since his salary was nowhere close to what the current coach makes and other top baseball coaches make nowadays.

Skip deserves every honor tossed his way for all the success he brought to LSU's baseball team. So, I am for it. However, Skip as the AD & as a person, as Ive hear stories over the yrs, is not someone I feel particularly warm & fuzzy about. But the comment bout him getting paid for his name...hit home in so many ways.
