That’s what we’re doing now? Just claiming everyone is cheating when they beat us for a recruit?

Our fans have been making excuses for over the last decade. Folks cheatin us is the biggest.

References to an office in Birmingham abound.

I would say top 5 classes are good enough, granted with the caveat that the coaching staff is able to harness the talents.

Who started this trend of landing top 5 classes and then squandering talent?

I don’t think anyone is arguing the downward trend didn’t start under Les.

Otherwise he wouldn’t have been fired.

It's like explaining to a child why throwing feces is a bad thing. It doesn't matter that the other kid did it first, it's still bad.

Some of the posts I've seen recently are hinting at just this idea.
That suddenly we're in the shitter and heading on down and this is like a new development.

les was fired. O was supposed to improve these areas not stay the same or do worse Just because things started going to hell with les doesn’t mean it’s okay for O to continue the trend. He needs to improve it or be gone

It’s like being in the twilight zone watching people claim that O should suddenly not be held to the same standards Les was.

Of course it’s a predictable double standard from the “one of us” crowd.

Then you're mistaken. O likely will accelerate the downward trend though.

O was supposed to improve recruiting? I think the general sentiment was that recruiting wouldn't drop off under Orgeron, but I never thought Orgeron would recruit BETTER than Miles. His last class before he got fired was ranked 2nd for crying out loud. For all his shortcomings, Les was a phenomenal recruiter.

The clowns act as if nothing should be said if Les had a similar problem or results. News flash---LSU fired Les.

Les also won more games while here than another other SEC school and played in as many or more NCGs as 99% of schools. He also NEVER loss to a SBC school. They never seem to want to talk about that.

Alleva and O both said this was NOT a rebuilding. O was the choice so it would be a smooth transition. So much for that.

Yea very stupid move on Os part. Not really surprised though

This guy has an arrogance with recruiting that is completely unwarranted as a HC. Perhaps his agent runner/shipcaptain/websitecreator/radio host forgot to spell out the differences between a good position coach recruiter and HC.

I must have missed the Mississippi State skull fricking and the SBC beat down while Les was here, but continue on with your agenda, hypocrite.
