He's more than competent, but he's not on the level of Kirby, Saban, or Jimbo. That much is clear.

I can't even believe this accusation was made. Dumb way to run a program if that was the case.

I must have missed the impressive wins that we've had since o took over. I remember last years Auburn victory, which was pretty impressive. But I can't for the life of me remember any others.

What if it’s the 6th ranked class?

Moscona does not know anything. It does not take insider knowledge to state that we have to recruit 5 stars that everyone is after to the last day. Nor is it surprising that we could get all three or none of them. Is this considered insightful? The year we got Leonard Fornette I think we got 2 of 5 of the prize competitive recruits at the end of the day.

Pretty clear to me and insiders that work in the program that are neighbors.. Orgeron is far better managing and coaching people than Miles ever was. He is not Nick Saban or Urban Meyer but no one else is either. Stop with the open constant opinionated non fact based sniping at the guy.

LSU greatly mismanaged the Les Miles exit. In fact LSU screwed up Miles last three years beginning with the Chavis debacle. It cost us in recruiting badly. The negative BS and constant crap is still hurting the program and recruiting. See what the Texas people did to their program after Charlie Strong was hired. Now they have Herman. But they lost 5 years because their egos and backbiting nonsense.

Having lived in Atlanta for 18 years and spent many football days and other days in Athens... UGA and the Atlanta Athens area offers far more than the Baton Rouge area. Just a fact. Unfortunately. I love Baton Rouge(and live here because I want to) but when outsiders come here few like it.

then the coach known for recruiting needs to get into the top 5 with how stacked Louisiana is. Havin sec coaches saban, jimbo and kirby finishing ahead of orgeron isnt good. I thought O was known for recruiting

if he can’t break top 5 with the instate talent this cycle then it would be a disappointment. I thought O could at least bring in top 5 classes maybe I was wrong.

You feel that being 4th in the conference, 3rd in the division, is going to be good enough?

I don’t think #6 ranked class is a lowered bar. I do see what your saying though.

It’s a bumper crop / banner year, he needs to take advantage of the talent in state.

If they finish number 9 but land Emery, Sospher, Ray Parker, Christian Harris, Palmer and Lee then I’ll be ecstatic about this class.

In all honesty he can lose on Palmer and Lee because of Chase and Marshall. Losing the #1 RB and DT our of south Louisiana should be seen as an enormous fail though.

There’s a long ways to go but they put their selves in an unnecessary bind because of piss poor planning.

Everyone of them except Cody Worsham for basketball and Charles Hannagriff for General LSU Sports Talk steals their shite from TD.

Going off of this logic, why would recruits go out of their way to go to Tuscaloosa?

Your right. We should never expect O to land 5* RB’s 40 min away in Destrehan. I mean Athens is such a nice city. Poor little O has to recruit in Baton Rouge.

What about when Mississippi State made a run at him and he damn near went there.

Can Baton Rouge not offer what Starkville does?

If you’re going to come up with an excuse at least make it a good one.
