Johnson ought to:
1) Fimd the 3 best pitching coaches in the countru and throw a boat-load of money at them.
2) Do the same with pitchers. Earl Weaver once said “Good pitching beats good hitting every time.

He can look across the hall and find one of the best pitching coaches in the country, but I don’t think this is the year to ask for a raise for him.

When you say pitching, what stat are you referencing? Because “pitching” isnt a stat

That’s ironic. LSU is also dead last in the sec. Coincidence?

If you’re going to cry and pout like a toddler can you at least come with correct info?

LSU is number 1 in the country in strikeouts by pitchers per 9 innings. Avg 12.4 per game but are 99th in the country in ERA at 5.32

Is this talented arms but just lacking inexperience/control?

ERA

That includes plenty of bad catching and fielding that wasn't ruled errors. Not all on the pitchers although they have their problems also.

We don’t pitch for contact and walk or plunk every other batter.

This is talented arms, that lack consistency, too many walks.
Also, TERRIBLE fielding behind them, which results in more men on, more at bats, etc…. This all translates to higher ERA.

We would set records if our ERA was .532.
