LSU Hoops vs Texas Southern tonight 7pm -- FREE with Football ticket

You can feel the excitement for this weekend in Baton Rouge and no better way to start it then booting up tonight.
Need to get everyone out to the PMAC to start the festivities. Get there early if you are getting a free ticket with your football ticket cause the ticket office does get backed up a bit.
LSU will dominate this game as Texas Southern is not very good, but that doesn't mean you can't get excited, get on campus, and watch MBB kick some arse.
Also, the first 1,000 fans will receive an LSU Boot Up koozie.

Line is LSU -35.5 at FanDuel. That line seems about right to me. I don't feel great taking the over or under there.

the thing I am most interested in continues to be the progress of ruzic and dessert. ruzic seems so good, coming after that starting job.
levy is fun to watch as a two-tool player. massive size at the rim, and three point shooting. doesn't seem to able to dribble the ball or really do much of anything else. but that's a pretty useful 2 skills to have.

Honestly 35.5 feels a little low. Not to say we don't lay an egg but this team is worse than UNO. They lost to to Grand Canyon by 24. Plus they are still playing starters longer than you may otherwise getting them real reps. All the ingredients for an arse whipping.

We didn't dominate TSU last year -- had to come from double digits behind in the second to get by the Texas Tigers.

Well that's just not true.
We haven't played them in a bit. I'm looking back now...
looks like we played them in 2016, but it was a close one.

I don't miss too many basketball games even in the worst of times, but it's gonna be a long day tomorrow for this old dog and the opponent is Texas Southern, so I am going to miss this one. May be the only one I miss this year.

It's on SECN+ so if you have SECN you can find it on the ESPN app by logging into your cable provider. I did also notice for last game I was able to get it thru youtube tv which caught me off guard.

He may be fine in 6th man role, and will likely get more minutes than Dessert and Mo anyways. Remember Tari Eason was the best player on the team and came off the bench.

he was and he did. wade said at the time he believed the refs were more eager to call fouls early and he wanted to protect Eason from that.
you are right to imply it doesn't matter if he starts. I hope he plays a lot. he is awesome.
