quote:true enough. I’m really hoping the losses eat at them and show tendencies. It is later in the season hopefully their pitchers are getting tired.
Even if you have them losing that series, with bama and florida at home i dont see how they dont go at least 19-11 and likely 20-10. I also wouldnt count them out of winning any weekend with their rotation. They have 3 possible aces starting for them. They lost at tennessee on the road because they couldnt score a couple runs. Hard to see that problem continuing

I mean, im hoping too, but they just look to be one of the 8 best teams in the country with those arms

I hope you are right. I see Beloso showing signs of Cabrera from the end of last year.
If Garza can stay in the lineup and Dugas gets in there who knows what can happen.

Its hard for me to to believe that them, vandy, and miss st arent the class of the league. I feel like lemonis has underachieved with that bunch so far
I think Vandy and Arkansas are the two best teams in the league right now.

I guess i dont see it with arkansas. I mean, yeah campbell is a pretty good starter, but no one else on the mound for them scares me.
But to be fair, raby for vandy has started to look human his last couple outings

I'm talking more about the way Arkansas is playing right now. For some reason, we play well up there though. We just need to take care of business this weekend and everything is in front of us. I know you can't expect a sweep on the road, but it sure would be huge to get one this weekend.

Agreed, it would allow us to go to arkansas and lose 2 of 3 and be ok

Vandy swept bama in Tuscaloosa this weekend by a combined score of 22 to 9, including a 2-0 shutout today.

Josh Smith is so good
Yep, and has a love for the game that rivals Alex Bregman. He will be a high draft pick, not a second overall, but will be top 5 rounds and work his arse off to get to the pros.
Excited to see what is going to happen with him in his pro career

I see a tough schedule ahead for State but they do have Georgia at home at least.
Follow that up with road series at T&M and Ole Miss. Pitching wins these series, and they are struggling.

And Miss St was swept this weekend by the pigs.

This is a little synopsis from The Advocate I thought people would be interested in.
I don't think they publish this part online. SIAP I was super busy this weekend and didn't keep up with the Rant much, especially yesterday.

During LSU's series against Florida last weekend, the Tigers scored 33 runs. They batted .368 (43 for 117) as a team with eight doubles, two triples and four home runs. LSU posted these offensive numbers without two of its most reliable hitters, Zach Watson and Chris Reid. Neither will play against Lamar, so will the backups continue to step up in their absence?

Shades of Larson, Furniss, Barbier and Koerner. This current LSU team is on fiyah.

They did what every SEC team has done to Fla. this year. Keep it up, bottom of the order needs to continue to contribute to the cause.

Why do you think uga will fade?
they go to State and AU. I think both of those schools take 2/3. AU is good at home. Ask Ole Miss. That’s 4 losses with State losing. LSU has to zero in and buckle down, but these youngsters are growning up.
Didn’t think Arky would push this hard.
